Our shepherd Father Reiser has gone home Beginning Friday, December 30 at 11 a.m. there will be a 24 hour vigil/wake service for Father Reiser in the main church, open to the public, with viewing. Vigil prayers will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, December 30, in the main church. Vigil will continue through the night on Friday, up until 10:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. Funeral will be Saturday, December 31 at 11 a.m. in the main church. There will be overflow seating in the gym and cafeteria with media feeds bringing the service to those areas of the building. Preceded in death by his parents, Aloysius and Ottilia Reiser; brother, Alex Reiser; sisters, Lynn Maciej and Sister Bertrand Reiser, O.S.B. Surived by sister, Rosemary (Stanley) Leger; nephews, Bernie Maciej, Bob Maciej, Lee Maciej, Tony Leger and Norm Leger; and his nieces, Sue Spencer, Ann Brau, Connie Koehn, Liz Reiser, Margie Saatzer, Lois Lepinski, Rene Kopen, Mary Kay Ness, Yvonne Schuneman and Joyce Getchell. MISSION: Reiser Relief Inc. is a volunteer run non-profit organization and its primary purpose is supporting the poorest of the poor in the Caribbean country of Haiti.  Reiser Relief supports two primary schools, Terre Promise and the Reiser Heights Primary.  Presently it is engaging in a collaborative effort to build Grace Village, an area of 16 acres.  It will be a little city of peace including Maranatha Orphanage for handicapped, deaf, orphaned and abandoned poor children living in severe poverty.  A separate facility will be constructed that will provide for the care of the elderly.   Reiser Relief Inc. was formed by Father Bernard Reiser, a Catholic priest who has devoted his life to serving the many needs of others.  Since its beginning, Reiser Relief has helped to bestow new hope for many hundreds of God's needy people through the generosity of a great number of people.

Reiser Relief Inc. is a volunteer run non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation founded by Father Bernard Reiser of Coon Rapids, MN, its mission is to help the impoverished people of the Caribbean country of Haiti, the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere.
